So I was wondering what a certain member of your household thinks of this news: http://tinyurl.com/ybxea9m

Can't see the link from work as the IT nazis have it blocked. Got to check it at home tonight Deb and I will follow up with you.

Got to say we're not too happy about it. Eric, the former Trek Trak director, is a friend. We have not heard from him in a couple of weeks and he had not mentioned not doing the trak this year when last we talked to him. Add to that he was the one that got my wife guest status as an official MAO judge for the Miss Klingon Empire pageant (which is now also gone!) and the odds of us making D*C again this year are looking slim.

I hope you can still come. It's a shame for everyone connected with Eric's version of Trek Trak that things have played out like this. Sad

Definitely a shame it played out like this. Still waiting on word back from Eric as to what went down exactly.

We hope to come, but it's up in the air at this point. The little lady was laid off last week, my overtime has been cut effective this week, and the fates seem to be conspiring to keep us out again this year. Ugh.

I know your $$ pain. I am still paying off my credit card from last year, lol. Next month's payment will finish it off, though. I need to get my act together and find some stuff around here to sell on eBay to help fund D*C.
